a fully featured brand experience

It was very important to the client that the site was an image rich brand experience. As such the storefront became a single focus full screen visual gallery with minimum user interface to guarantee minimal distraction. This gave Dropdead the perfect opportunity to showcase their latest products using striking lifestyle photography that not only helps to sell the brand but also set the tone for the store. It was important that the brand experience wasn’t restricted to the storefront alone. We threw away the standard blog design that came with the theme. We designed a new, fully responsive, photography lead blog with a typographic style that is not only fantastic to look at but inviting to read. This gave the client the perfect platform to shout about new products & events.

responsive theme adjustments

The primary target market are very active online with mobile & tablet devices. This is to say we would expect a large amount of usage to come from such devices, this only emphasises how important it was that the chosen theme was already responsive. Making adjustments to a responsive theme means that we have to carefully consider all the changes made across all views to make sure we present every user with a version of the site that is optimised for their device. Importantly this approach also helps to future-proof the site to work with devices that haven’t even been announced yet.

“You guys have done a cracking job on this - can't wait for this new one your working on, it's gonna be next level!”
